Background & Style

To date I have covered approximately 300 weddings over the 12 years I have been a professional photographer. My original involvement was with National Weddings who became Kodak Weddings.  At the time the emphasis was to concentrate on traditional wedding photography.  While this approach was often criticised, it did none the less teach me how to take well composed group shots.

When I started doing weddings in my own name, I concentrated on more informal story telling pictures. This was partly due to my involvement with wedding magazines where they were looking for editorial style photos.

Now I tailor my approach to each individual couple although my preference is concentrate on informal pictures but still put a little time aside for traditional group shots.
